It can also allow a skilled practitioner to work remotely on an area of the body not available for more direct work (for example-if an area is too sore to tolerate deeper massage, or if contraindicated due to injury or recent surgery).Some practitioners may work on hands or ears-be sure to ask if you have a specific need or request.
